1. Is the company government licensed? Each broker and each trucker is given an MC number by the Federal Highway Administration office. You can check their license by going to Federal Motor Carrier Administration. Click on "Licensing & Insurance", then next to Docket Number, make sure MC is selected and enter the license number. Our license number is 425579.

2. What about insurance? The trucking company which hauls your car carries the insurance for your shipment, not the broker. Some trucking companies require you, the customer, to pay the deductible if there is damage to your behicle. We use truckers who pay the deductible, not passing it on to the shipper!

3. What is the company's track record? Make sure that no matter which company you choose that you take the time to carefully check them out. The Federal Highway Administration (which investigates claims) is located in Washington D.C. They keep files on all companies. Also call the Better Business Bureau in the city closest to you. Make sure you give them the actual telephone number of the company to be checked out, not the name of the company! There are too many companys using similar names! The issue is not whether the company has complaints, is whether the complaints have been answered satisfactorily.Does the broker direct you to a website that the say is a substitute for the Better Business Bureau? If so, it is a diversion to keep you from seeing the truth.

4. Are you quoted an exact delivery time or day? There is NO WAY any company can quote you an exact pickup or delivery time or day unless you have paid for expedited service. Common sense dictates that bad weather conditions, bad road conditions, driver illness and fatigue, mechanical breakdowns, etc., can determine and even effect changes in pickup and delivery times.

We want you to know that our shipping personnel are the best trained in the industry with many years of combined experience. The lessons we have learned over those years gives you, the shipper, a huge advantage. We are also very knowledgeable regarding the rules and regulations of the Federal Highway Administration. Our first commitment to you is to ship your car in the safest manner possible. This includes placing it with the right carrier (trucking company) or driver so that we minimize the chance of any damage ever happening. Even though all the trucks we use have cargo and liability insurance, it is very important that your vehicle be dispatched to a carrier that has the most experience shipping your type of vehicle.

We will try to meet or beat rate quotes of any other company, as long as the service which they are offering is of the same caliber as our service is. If we can't meet their rates---or they quote too low, then you could be booking with an unlicensed broker or trucker, or uninsured trucker. There are many truckers out there that run without insurance and authority!
